Due to the Holy Day Mass schedule,

the 9 a.m. confessions Friday, December. 8, are cancelled.

The Masses celebrating the Immaculate Conception are as follows:

7, 8:30, & 10 a.m. & 5:30 p.m.

Important!

The 4th Sunday of Advent & Christmas Masses Collide!

With Christmas falling on a Monday this year, it creates a liturgical ‘traffic jam’ with the 4th Sunday of Advent and our Christmas Mass schedule.  Here’s how the Mass schedule will unfold:

4th Sunday of Advent (December 23rd & 24th)

Saturday, December 23rd:  4 & 5:30.p.m. Vigil Masses

Sunday, December 24th:  7, 8:30 & 10 a.m. Masses (NO 11:30 a.m. Mass)

Christmas (December 24th & 25th)

Sunday, December 24th:  4 &  6 (Children’s Liturgy) Vigil Masses

Monday, December 25th: Midnight, 8:30, 10 & 11:30 a.m. Masses

Please note that on Sunday, December 24th, there will be NO 11:30 a.m.

Mass for the 4th Sunday of Advent.

This will create a little ‘breathing space’ between our 4th Sunday of Advent

liturgies and the start of the Christmas Mass schedule later in the day on the 24th.

Also, it is important to understand that attending either the 4 or 6 p.m.

Christmas Vigil Masses on Sunday, December 24th (Christmas Eve),

will NOT fulfill your 4th Sunday of Advent obligation.

So, I ask you to plan your Christmas weekend accordingly.

Between Dec 23 – 25, you are obliged to attend two Masses

— one for the 4th Sunday of Advent, and one for Christmas.

Start making your Mass plans now.
